A. B. and Geri

A. B. writes "From a personal standpoint, life has been a blessing. Many of you know my high school sweetheart who has been the love of my life for the past 47 years of marriage". He continues, "This union has produced two lovely daughters and, in turn, it has given us two of the world's most delightful, charming grandchildren.

A. B. and Geri lived on the west coast while he was in school. They returned to New Mexico and A. B. got involved in the insurance business which, as it turned out, became a business life career. He entered the industry as an adjuster for a large national multi-line underwriter. He resigned after 15 years as resident claims manager and ventured into the sales end of insurance.  He and a partner opened an independent insurance agency know as Guzman, Denk & Associates. The business was very good to them and was sold to a large entity out of Dallas, Texas. His partner retired at that time and A. B. continued with the new firm until January 1997 at which time he retired. Geri has previously retired from Sandia National Laboratories in 1994.

A. B. also relates, "We have enjoyed a most rewarding and restful life in retirement. I recall many, many years ago certain people inquired what I wanted to be when I reached retirement. My answer - - - Alive! So far I've succeeded".
